Funeral Live Streaming at Bredbury St Marks Cricket Club, Bredbury
Can you live stream a funeral from Bredbury St Marks Cricket Club, Bredbury?
The answer is yes. We were honoured to live stream a funeral service held at the club for a gentleman who had been a regular visitor and a familiar face around the ground. The venue held special meaning for his family and friends. To ensure the service could be shared with those unable to attend, we carefully positioned our cameras to the rear of the function suite that overlooked the ground. Wireless microphones were placed discreetly so that the celebrant’s words and the family tributes could be heard with complete clarity.
The result was a smooth and dignified live stream that allowed relatives and friends watching from across the country and abroad to feel present at the service, held in a place where so many memories had been made.
Bredbury St Mark’s Cricket Club is located on the edge of the River Goytin Bredbury..
Cricket clubs such as St Mark’s emerged across Britain during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a time when organised sport became an important part of community life. The connection to St Mark’s Church reflects this tradition, where parish life and sport often overlapped.
The clubhouse and surrounding grounds have long served as gathering places for celebrations, community events and moments of remembrance. In this way the club reflects a particularly British tradition: the local sports club as a social heart of the community, where people come together not only to play but also to mark life’s important milestones.
